Hyundai Motor seen as emerging Goliath, Boasts Preston Hyundai in Hurlock, Maryland

November 17th, 2009

In an economy where consumers are running from gas guzzling trucks and SUV’s, the emerging giant offers the right cars at the right time.  Consumers continue to move to the more fuel efficient Hyundai and Kia vehicles in an effort to keep their expenses under control.

Increasing production and shinning a bigger spotlight on them through advertising, Hyundai Motor has earned an impressive 30% increase in U.S. sales in July and August, while the industry competition suffered a 7% loss during that same period. Shifting the consumer’s attention with a better product, Hyundai then introduced several “economy rescue” plans to further stimulate consumer spending with a safety net.

The very appealing “Hyundai Assurance Program”, launched in January of this year, gave buyers who recently lost their jobs a “no questions asked – no penalty” option to return their vehicles. A month later Hyundai again presented a plan in which they would agree to cover vehicle payments for three months while buyers who had lost their jobs sought new employment. This program not only helped the consumer through a tough time, but also allowed them to keep their vehicle in the process.

Hyundai, whose desire is to fight through this economy, also looked out for its dealers.  Preston Hyundai in Hurlock, Maryland, along with all Hyundai Dealers, benefited from the company’s guarantee of receiving the up to $4500 payment per car sold under the Cash for Clunkers program.  Rather than making its dealers wait for government reimbursement, Hyundai made those payments directly to the dealers.  So while dealers of Hyundai’s competitors suffered a cash crunch from slow government payments, Hyundai dealers enjoyed the benefits of increased sales.

Looking for a Fun to Drive Car? Maryland Delaware Dealer has the 2010 Genesis Coupe

November 12th, 2009

Two-time winner of Popular Mechanics Automotive Excellence Awards, Hyundai has done a tremendous job of transforming its image and it cars in an amazingly short period of time.  This transformation has helped to earn the new Hyundai Genesis Coupe with its win in the 2010 Fun to Drive Category. In 2006 Hyundai enjoyed the same recognition with the Sonata for its excellence in safety.

The Hyundai Genesis Coupe, with its sleek design in either the 2.0-liter intercooled four-cylinder turbocharged engine with 210 horsepower or the 3.8-liter V6 model with 306 horsepower, makes this vehicle one of Hyundai’s most dynamic performance cars ever.  With its rear wheel drive handling, the Hyundai Genesis Coupe outperforms the competition.  In a side by side test against the Infinity G37, according to Popular Mechanics, the Hyundai Genesis Coupe was right in line with the Infinity in each performance category; yet it is priced at $15,000 less than the G37.

John Skalstad, General Manager at Preston Hyundai in Maryland, boasts about the quality and dependability that Hyundai builds into their product. “With superior quality, an inexpensive price tag, and great safety ratings, Hyundai’s line-up is the best it has ever been. The Genesis, for one, turned everyone’s head and made all automotive manufacturer companies realize that Hyundai is one who plans to contend now and in the future.”

Delmarva save on gas with a Hyundai

October 30th, 2009

Retail gasoline prices chugged higher Friday to a new peak for the year, forcing consumers to dig deeper into already-thin wallets to pay for fuel.

The worst part: Supplies of oil and gas are plentiful. In fact, storage points for gas are so jammed, producers are running out of places to put it and crude supplies are well above average levels.

Gasoline prices are now up 17 straight days after climbing 0.4 cents overnight to $2.695 a gallon, according to auto club AAA, Wright Express and Oil Price Information Services. That is the highest price since Oct. 26, 2008.

Prices are up 5.9 cents from a week ago and 14.8 cents from a year ago.

You can fight back and save your hard earn money by investing into a new Preston Hyundai.  Check out what others are saying about Hyundai www.hyundaimomentum.com
